It took me a while to get used to the Big 10, but I think it's more competitive than when we first joined and I like watching the conference games now. I also like good defense and can appreciate that better than a Big 12 game with no defense.Some of the good teams in the Big10 (that are way better than us right now) are just not exciting to watch. I'm looking forward to the day Frosts Huskers catch up because when we're up there with them, our brand of football will be upbeat, fun and full of electrifying athletes!
I think good defense is actually inept offense. OSU put up 100 on michigan last year...and OSU had the only good offense in the whole conference. If you put Iowa in the big 12 they would wear down and give up huge yards and points by the end of the year. Give me solid line play ,no turnovers,solid penalty free extra teams,mistake free dominating defenses that create havoc and mayhem and turnovers.Teams that win games 17-7,24-7.Nothing is more boring than watching games that go 45-42 also Ohio St. is a very exciting team to watch and Purdue { when healthy offensively} is very exciting !Some of the good teams in the Big10 (that are way better than us right now) are just not exciting to watch. The Big 10 is much better because of much better coaches and when we joined there were scandals at Penn State and Ohio State, Brady Hoke was at MI. TV $ allowed Purdue, Minnnesota, etc to hire better coaches.It took me a while to get used to the Big 10, but I think it's more competitive than when we first joined and I like watching the conference games now.
