I have enjoyed the bright eyed enthusiasm and talent of this group of players. However, this will be their first Big Ten game and first road game. I have zero confidence in Rhule leading this team, instilling resiliency, making in game critical decisions. I can see there is a huge splash of Black Cherry Kool-aid spilled all over this thread. unfortunately i think the team comes up just a smidge short.

Is there a nearby campus bowling alley for Rule to get a few frames in ? it might help.

Better isn’t determined by quantity. It’s quality. Edward’s gets a lot more attempts than our guys. His average gain is 5.1 yards per carry. And is 61st in the Nation. Rule is number 4 at 9.13

Edwards came from UCONN. When that program has been decent, it has valued strong running back play. Edwards came in with Mora and EJ Barthel may have recruited him and he did coach him his first year. The kid is a real B1G RB.

I’m just not very confident in our run defense. Don’t get me wrong, I really like our backs. I just think they to prove it in the B1G before we anoit them. I think Rule has the potential to be a great one.
