I think there was only 1 game against a Pat Fitzgerald coached team that wasn't an absolute nailbiter so I'm prepared to not have fun

Both teams will see this as a must win. I have no idea how it will turn out though I know Pat Fitzgerald is a good coach.
There are plays in Dana‘s bag that he didn’t have to pull out for these first three games. There are not a lot of holes in the skill talent, and that means that Holgerson and Colandrea have a lot of places where they can take the ball.

MSU in their house isn’t going to be easy.
I think MSU held up well in the trenches, it was raining a bit, maybe that factored into ND play calling....But wasnt like ND was breaking chunk plays off .... ND ran 43 times for a 3.7 average ...ND got a few deep passes, hopefully we can test them with some deep passes....
UND gave us problems at times in the run game. MSU will be tougher by quite a bit.
Jordan Hall LB #5 for Sparty is a stud. He’s easily a top 3 LBs Rhule has faced while at Nebraska. Probably 3rd behind Abdul Carter who went #3 in the draft at Penn State and Tommy Eischenberg who won the Butkus for Ohio State in 2023.
Michigan State defense is scary good. Luckily their offense is average at best and their QB and RBs aren’t great.

This is the best Nebraska team I’ve seen in years. It’s so obvious. I’m exited to watch next weeks game against Michigan State.
It may be a nail biter but doesn’t have to be. We may be better than all the naysayers are predicting. I am very excited because it is fun to watch the Huskers again offensively. Lots of weapons.
Still have to prove it. Love most of what I’ve seen.
What's obvious is they haven't faced a P4 opponent. A $30 million roster should be able to control the game against a P6/FCS opponent. Seem to be a lot of P4 teams that look like Goliath until they face another even average P4 team. I'm expecting every conference game to be a rock fight, unless we get boatraced by a playoff contenter. The good news is that outside of tOSU and Indiana, the rest of our future opponents have looked pretty average at times.
I'm taking a wait and see on Aurich, the D seems to be gelling. Nebraska has a bad habit of making marginal and second string QBs look like Davey O'Brien candidates.
Will be there on a 45, 35 rows up. GBR.
win or lose, it’s refreshing to see a QB with some apparent leadership skills.
I love what I’ve seen from Colandrea. He’ll likely throw some picks in conference but dang he’s fun to watch.
