Odd that the story was reported when its based on Tweets and the Rivals network.
If ever there were a couple of sources to not trust- itd an internet based rumor mill(Twitter) and...well another internet based rumor mill(Rivals).

What a sad situation. He was the most heralded player here in Arkansas his senior year. Local sports talk radio was almost unbearable for a while because callers were wanting to know news on his recruitment. It was a huge letdown for the razorback nation when he left for bama. No doubt he had some issues. I hate to see any young person flounder or much less pass away. I will be praying for his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

Just read a story saying he was kicked off the team at Nichols state last week. The next day he fired a handgun in the air in public and was arrested. Told police he was trying to shoot himself in the head, but fired straight up in the air instead. While being questioned, he tried to run out in the road in front of a truck. Was put in jail and a day after he got out he rolled his car and died.
Sounds like a very depressed young man. Possible suicide. Very sad!
