Lol. you're not wrong.

Btw, did anyone ever figure out who won the "most relaxed UK fan" award tonight? Some of you cared so little it was almost like you weren't fans at all!!

Bravo, and good for your blood pressure. I feel like if I cared that little I'd damn near not even watch sports, but some of you pull it off.

Swear to God, the weirdest bunch of people I have ever encountered were message board posters who get pissed at fans getting pissed about sports. It's like going to buy a car and getting pissed off that there are cars there. "GD TOYOTA AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I EXPECTED TO SEE GD!!!"

Rightly or wrongly at the time, it's what it is. Take it to mothers book club if you just can't handle it by now. It's been this way since Rome. It's only making you look weird in the end TBH.

my opinion.
I encourage anyone to post how they feel, however irrational it is. Lol. But if a person does, they should take off the dress and take the blow back like a man. It works both ways.

Dude I'm glad we won but come on. We had to comeback from down 19 to a .500 team and on our home floor, On Senior Day. We do this in the tournament then we won't have a crap team to let us come back and beat them.
So you're not going to give a lick if credit to Vandy?
Let me tell you something, regardless of their record, they would have beaten most of the teams in the top 10 last night. They were hitting shots from distance and they have a squad that can shoot a high percentage from three point range from all FIVE positions.
This wasn't just one shooter that went off, their center was hitting 25 footers.
If you think that should have been an easy game than you don't know **** about basketball.
They may have a bunch if losses, but they didn't get those losses playing the way they did last night, they have a new coach and it took some time for him to get that team to this point.

Did you see KU down by 10 with under 6 mins... at home, senior night, to a sup .500 conference team.?
It happens, and the good teams fight and come back.
Major 1st half problem was UK missing wide open shots and Mulder's poor defense... combined with Vandy hitting NBA threes.
Easy recipe for a loss...but...
Exactly, and Oklahoma wasn't hitting crazy threes ike Vandy was last night.

And it's not going to be close. If Vandy plays in Saturday the way they did last night, it's lights out for Florida.

Could be epic... It amazes me to no end how teams get up to play the Cats. (Not taking anything away from the Vandy as they sure seem to have a good coach and nucleus.) Time will tell but they played with gusto last night. Vim and Vigor, gravitas, holy frijoles, jumping jiminy, blimey, blow me down good....may not be able to repeat that effort but I hope they do...at least against Florida..o_O

I think Vandy has been playing this way for the last couple if weeks. They fought their way onto the bubble and have been on fire lately.
I don't think their effort last night was the normal Kentucky affect, I think they are just that good.

Drew is proving he is a good coach. There are enough pieces on this Vandy team to be a dangerous out if they can somehow sneak in the tournament. I could see them playing in that 12 seed play in game.

No they wouldn't have. Vandy wouldn't have beaten many teams let alone top 10 teams last night. They hit some nice 3's but they didn't do anything else right. Vandy's inability to even dribble the basketball was laughable. Their defense was mediocre at best and they were terrible at rebounding and they could hardly even get in their offensive set.

Even while hitting some amazing 3's their overall shooting percent wasn't great. They still only shot 44% from the field. It throws everyone off because they hit 6 of the first 7 at the start of the 2nd half and the announcers kept telling everyone that Vandy is shooting 80%. Still it was just a 7 shot stretch in the game. Vandy wasn't good at all. UK was just plain awful for 30 minutes. I think we only had something like 6 points at the 10 minute mark of the first half. That was what kept Vandy in the game. If we even had a normal off night at that point we would have had a double digit lead at the half. This wasn't an amazing game by Vandy we just were that bad at the start of the game. Give UK even a pedestrian 35 at the half and this game would have been a rout.

OP if UK would've lost: See, I told you guys! You just can't see what I can see...I KNEW this was coming!

OP since we won: Whew...it's a good thing I did this reverse jinx thread, or it's obvious we would have lost. Cal can't coach! (Great defensive adjustment to bring some energy by Cal btw)

To answer the OP, things aren't all fixed. It's a process, just like every year, and we're making incremental improvements especially defensively. I'll take it...

Meanwhile, ESPN continues to pump Duke.

We are what we are. At the end of the day we are 25-5, possibly 26-5 heading into the SEC tourney as a 1-seed.

These close games are very frustrating, but it may be exactly what this team needs.

LOL, "they only shot 44%".
First of all, 44% is very good, but you're ignoring the excellent defense that brought them DOWN to 44%.
UK's defense had to be stellar to beat that team.
Poo poo it all you want, but you just look bad in the process.

This was a great win for 2 reasons.
1) It was a great win
2) It made the OP look like an idiot again

im surprised that many would expect teams to lose favored by double digits at home so often
