All I want to do now is see all the coverage of the RU game on the local channels and cable sports channels and read all the great articles on line. Everything is just so much better after a win, especially a win like this, that started off so badly and then boom! Wow, what a turnaround, from down 23-8 to up 35-31 at the half, after a 27-8 run, and then to up 65-45 after a 30-14 start of the 2nd half and from there cruising to an 11 point win (which was 19 with a minute left). So much fun to watch and so much fun to watch the team having so much fun. Life is good again.

Everyone was nervous, even me, and I'm usually one of the last to jump ship, lol. I just truly felt we were better than we were showing the past few games and just needed some damn shots to fall and they did. Would be awesome if this portends an improved run of shooting for a few games. Really need to win at NE to not have a bad loss this year and a win at a reeling MN is clearly possible, especially if they're off the bubble by then; I don't want to have to worry about getting in at 9-11 - 10-10 is a 100% lock (and even 9-11 is 99% IMO). I assume they have to go at least 2-1 against three relatively weak teams (NW/NE/PSU) to get to 8-11 to stay on the bubble given their 61 NET now, which would likely mean they have to beat RU to be in. 8-12 is just a big stretch to get in, even with their wins.
There was a lot of pressure on us to win this game. Coaches and fans can disagree but the media sort was kind of getting down on Rutgers and even though they still had us in the NCAAs, they were starting to stir up some doubts. It’s never easy to win on the road but I feel like we can play with confidence now; instead of fear. This was a very i important win tonight.
