It's not incorrect though. Teams get up to play us, guys go for career nights, guys shooting 15% on the season sudden go 50%. Then the very next game they lose to a directional school or a bottom 3 league team. It's like clockwork.

You may think the shine is off, that's fine, but it doesn't appear our opponents do.

Diminishing... No one shocked anymore. Not really a big win or upset (except Auburn).

KY still moves the needle in the SEC and draws the biggest home crowds and game day promotions. That being said I don’t care to really ever hear that from Cals mouth moving forward. It’s been made known over and over. Continuing to repeat it at this stage sounds as if your trying to keep a false narrative going.

As others have pointed out: a lot of teams get more "up" for the UK game than any other game on their schedule. So in that sense, it is the Super Bowl for some teams.

We aren't UNC's Super bowl. We aren't Kansas's. We aren't Duke's.

And even if we're the super bowl for most teams: I get tired of hearing about when we're losing more of those games than we should be.

Josh Pastner called Memphis everyone’s World Series in their league when he was there. Altered Cals saying while at Memphis that they were everyone’s super bowl in conference.
