It seemed like Dan coached not to lose. It was obvious to me and I'm sure it was to yall also. There was no passion since the auburn game. But I believe a lot of that comes from Dan. It's like he handcuffed our guys on offense. Now sure if the defense learned to tackle we probably win the game. But even the missed tackles we had a chance if Dan opens the offense.

Arky and tsun better than aubby and lsu? Nope equal at the most. I get alabama but same thing, very vanilla offense. I was honestly thinking Dan had some plays designed up just for this game. But we got the same thing. No sense of urgency whatsoever. I'm proud of what we accomplished but damn we had the team to do much more

The 4 best teams we faced were: Bama, OM, Auburn, and Ark. Three of those came after we hit #1.

Arkansas is somehow better than LSU, which finished 2 games ahead of them, and A&M, which finished 1 game ahead of them and beat them straight up? Let's not get carried away. Arkansas is a pretty good team and most likely the best 6-6 team in the country. But they finished last in the SECW. The fact is, we played like **** even in our wins after we got the #1 ranking, except for the Vandy game.

We also matched up well with LSU and Auburn. Both had QB's that struggle to have complete games throwing the ball.

Arkansas did beat the hell out of LSU. Plus, they played SECE opponents Missouri and UGA. If they had our crossdivisional schedule they finish 8-4.

Herbie said the same last week. Something along the lines of "MSU's resume is shaping up to be Auburn... And Arkansas..."

Unfortunately Dan will never be an elite coach. What this program will be with him as coach is an average, middle of the pack SEC team. We'll never be in the chase for the West or SEC Championship on a regular basis. We may slip up every 75 years and challenge for a West/SEC/National title like this year, but our place is mediocrity. That's why the talking heads give us no respect - we're all flash and luck. As long as he depends on 2-star talent, we'll never be more than average (unless the stars align like they did this year). He had everything aligned this year and f'd it up. After last year and this year, I'm convinced he's too immature and arrogant to learn from his mistakes.

We will never be on the chase for the West? Weren't we leading it for three quarters of this year?
