She needs to play. Less than 20 MPG seems short for her. She'll learn the system faster with at least 25 MPG on court.
We have a lot of mouths to feed. She is getting plenty of minutes and will get plenty of minutes as the season continues. We have integrated her as a primary scorer when she is in, which is really nice to have as a 6th (wo)man. Provides scoring stability while some of starters take a breather.

Who is the backup PG?
And is there a fall off?

Wright 11/4/7. Wow!

I’m not sure we have one. Deal, Kylie, and McCabe kind of fill the role.
We'd be in a world of hurt if Wright goes down. And yes, major fall off. I'd put it as Stremlow then Deal at this point as backup at the 1 spot at this point. Deal might be able to work her way ahead of Stremlow. Kylie and McCabe do not have the handles.

Shot selection map from last night.
Impeccable from an analytics perspective.

Yes, Evansville is a very weak team. But it is great to see that when this team has the opportunity to basically do whatever they want on the court, they are making extremely good decisions on offense. Messenger_creation_724141797378992.jpeg

My only criticism I have is Rodriguez is just a tad greedy with the ball.
Layla is as well imo. She for some against this team that won't work against conference opponents but maybe she only did it because of the opponent time will tell she has a bright future. Props to Jan for giving deal an extended run even when she wasn't clicking early.

Jan's been in coaching for a long time, and she led the nation in scoring in high school AND college. She knows the game, and she knows talent. Deal has skills, she just needs to settle in to her groove. Its coming..
