Bless your heart.Jesus never even mentioned abortion. He threw money changers out of the temple. He was a socialist Jew.

Doesn't sound like any Jew I ever knew....hahahhaJesus never even mentioned abortion. He threw money changers out of the temple. He was a socialist Jew.
You have no idea what the significance of Jesus overturning the money changers tables is.Jesus never even mentioned abortion. He threw money changers out of the temple. He was a socialist Jew.
Bzzzz. Wrong. Thank you for proving your ignorance.
You have no idea what the significance of Jesus overturning the money changers tables is.
How does Jesus turning over the Clinton Forndation...I mean the money changers' tables make him a socialist.Tell me where I'm wrong. And I have to warn you, I'm pretty knowledgeable about what the Bible says. I have read it a few times.

Close. It was not for atonement that purchases were made. It was for offerings. That's a big distinction. But if the money changers were selling sacrifices why were they called money changers?Do I not? They were required to make sacrifices to atone for their sins. The money changers knew this and took advantage of those traveling to the temple. They charged ridiculous prices for those desiring to purchase animals for sacrifice. Jesus was infuriated and ran them out of the temple.
How'd I do?
Why then when one of his disciples questioned the extravagant usage of an expensive fragrance suggesting it should be sold and the money given to the poor did Jesus rebuke that disciple? That alone does't but it clearly showed his disdain for people taking financial advantage of others.
Him telling the rich to sell all that they had and give to the poor clearly does.
"Pure and undefiled religion is taking care of the widows, orphans and the poor".
Render unto Caesar what is Ceasar's and render unto God what is god's.I beleive that tithing was to take care of the poor by the church which is far from the bastardization that the left has done with welfare. Why then when one of his disciples questioned the extravagant usage of an expensive fragrance suggesting it should be sold and the money given to the poor did Jesus rebuke that disciple?
Good grief. How ignorant can a person be??!!Jesus never even mentioned abortion. He threw money changers out of the temple. He was a socialist Jew.

This post, alone, shows you are a biblical baffoon. Took passage completely wrong, which doesn't surprise me. Jesus was making the point to the rich young ruler that he could do NOTHING to earn salvation. He was pointing out the absurdity of his question. Read the next chapter in Luke where the tax collector told Jesus he was returning half the tax money he had extorted from the Jews. Jesus was pleased with his answer. Neither had anything to do with salvation. That alone does't but it clearly showed his disdain for people taking financial advantage of others.

Missed the point again. Good luck, though. Clinton will be a disaster. And what did Jesus say about it being difficult for a rich man to enter into heaven? Eye of the needle ring a bell?
Who is the moron?
You cite a passage that supports paying taxes, lol.
You don't honestly believe the church is capable of providing for the poor and less fortunate?
You like to frequently cite how inefficient the government is and how they screw things up, do you seriously think we should rely on the church to provide for the less fortunate when we have preachers that live in multi-million dollar homes and own private leer jets and yachts and very expensive sports cars?
You forgot that Jesus would favor abortions....according to this guy's understanding of the Bible. You mean like the corrupt Clinton's? I was just pointing out that the church and church goers were to be charitable and that liberals have taken it upon themselves to take our tax money, spend it on a lot of things that benefit those in power, like some of the religious people you mention, and then give smaller portion than they should to the poor. But you miss the bible's teaching when you think that Jesus would be happy with our welfare state that rewards children out of wedlock and other untoward behavior.

That's what I thought. You tried to twist the Bible to make it say something you wanted it to say but couldn't back it up when other parts of the Bible clearly showed otherwise.
If I need to explain 'eye of the needle' you more far gone than I thought. That's what I thought. You tried to twist the Bible to make it say something you wanted it to say but couldn't back it up when other parts of the Bible clearly showed otherwise.
Do you support a pres candidate who supports abortions??I never said that. Make up lies when you can't prove your point.
No. you really arent. i have to warn you that you have no idea what the bible says.Tell me where I'm wrong. And I have to warn you, I'm pretty knowledgeable about what the Bible says. I have read it a few times.
Being a committed liberal and a Christian are two positions that is hard to reconcile.

Do you believe in legislating murder??Do you believe in legislating morality?

The Sadducees reduced Temple worship into a commerce system. Lost was the connection of gifts and offering with fellowship with God. The leadership maximized the obligation for profit while ignoring the purpose.Moneychangers in the temple was about the defacing of the Temple, not the money.
The one thing that should be noted is that Jesus never suggested that being poor or having money would prevent anyone from salvation. He never told the rich man that rich people could not go to heaven. He did not choose the poor over the rich or the rich over the poor. The Sadducees reduced Temple worship into a commerce system. Lost was the connection of gifts and offering with fellowship with God. The leadership maximized the obligation for profit while ignoring the purpose.
A good parallel today are churches which sell the Gospel. For profit they tell people what they want to hear. Despite the fact the Bible clearly states homosexuality is a sin these churches teach otherwise--for a profit. Instead of preaching the Gospel as freedom from sin these church teach the Gospel as freedom to sin.
As to the murder of the unborn I think a case can be made Jesus would be against it.
FalseJesus was a liberal who taught against the conservatives of the day who were using God for their own purpose to gain power.

This silly things liberals tell themselves to they can accept the fact they support the murder of millions of unborn children.Jesus was a liberal who taught against the conservatives of the day who were using God for their own purpose to gain power.
