I think I heard 31 at some point but I am not sure...I may be way off but I do know when I heard the number I said “Wow”... hoping Gene can pass along this technique and toughness to his mates creating turnovers.

Really enjoyed watching Eugene last year. Admittedly I had written him off as a freshman, he seemed like the game was too fast for him, he couldn't get a shot of at times. Fast forward to last year, he really slowed things down, utilized his craftiness offensively to be efficient and really was a great asset defensively (including the absurd amount of charges).

This is the year where his game can really blossom on a bigger stage and make a name for himself within the conference, we as rutgers fans know how good he was but I don't think he had the respect yet around the league. Excited for Gene this season!

I really hope he's able to pass on some of that positioning and footwork skillset to other guys on the team.

He was a soccer player first, right? Good footwork carried over to the hardcourt to make him superb at this skill

Don’t forget the kids heart and fearless style of play. Also goes a long way when putting your body in front of someone that may be coming full speed/momentum at you.
