Wichita State is playing at Kentucky. I hope we play a couple of top teams, although I’m sure they’ll be on the road. WSU also plays USC.

As of today, the following have schedules out

ECU - OOC only
Memphis - OOC Only
USF - OOC only
Temple - MTE's only
Tulane - OOC only
Wichita State - 5 OOC Opponents

The conference Schedules are not out as of yet either so therefor no ones schedule is technically out.

I am about to make an updated post on the Conference and the MTE situation as I can find it. that will be on the MTE Thread

So took a look and the schedule last year came out on 9/25. First game was 11/3. This year first games are on 11/2 so if they do the same as last year we should see a schedule in about 3 weeks

Four or five games to go and we'll probably get the dregs of opponents on those last 40% of our schedule.

I would have hoped a 30 win season would have made us a more attractive opponent.
We are getting better teams on our schedule. Western Kentucky is a decent school and we had to have them on the return home and home.

we definitely got the best teams in the two tournaments we are playing in this year. Out of the 5 teams on our schedule so far excluding ORU they had an average NET of 113. That is a really good average NET considering what we faced last year. I am cautiously excited about the rest of the non conference. That is where we will see how attractive we were

Now, since we have higher net teams on the schedule , it remains important that we win most of them.

This is turning into a great schedule

10/23 - @ OKLAHOMA STATE (Exhibition)
11/5 - Northern Illinois
11/11 - Oral Robers
11/16 - Western Kentucky
11/20 - vs MISSISSIPPI STATE (neutral arena in Jackson, MS)
11/23 - vs OREGON STATE (Palm Springs)
11/24 - vs ILLINOIS STATE (Palm Springs)
12/19 - vs UTAH STATE (Frisco, TX)
12/21 - vs SAN FRANCISCO (Frisco, TX)

I think these games alone can get us an at large bid. As long as we are in the top couple of places in the American. Our SOS should be fire.

Looks like we can add 4 or 5 more games to the schedule so expect some SWAC teams or CUSA teams

So far only one actual road game and technically one neutral that really is an away game with Mississippi State

our out of town schedule is much better than our home schedule. lol. The home ones are must wins imo

Based on last year’s results this is a way better schedule than we’ve seen in a while. With only 3-4 games to go I don’t think he can possibly junk it up much. This should be an at-large worthy schedule if we can win 20-25 games.

Even with 4 SW NE Oklahoma Christian Jucos on the schedule it is already way better than last year.

So I did some light reading and in 2026-27 they upped the number of games you can schedule to 32 games. The MTE used to be a 3-1 for the exemptions but as of this season they are no longer exempt and all games are now counted towards the schedule. We will have 18 games in our Conference Schedule and currently we have 9 games in our OOC. That means we can schedule up to 5 more games

10/23 - @ OKLAHOMA STATE (Exhibition)
11/5 - Northern Illinois
11/11 - Oral Robers
11/16 - Western Kentucky
11/20 - vs MISSISSIPPI STATE (neutral arena in Jackson, MS)
11/23 - vs OREGON STATE (Palm Springs)
11/24 - vs ILLINOIS STATE (Palm Springs)
12/6 - @ MISSOURI STATE
12/19 - vs UTAH STATE (Frisco, TX)
12/21 - vs SAN FRANCISCO (Frisco, TX)
