ESPNU is on Directv as well!!

I decided to check if I could get espnu on Directv with all the talk about Comcast and waalaa there it was. I did not know this, thought I would share the news if not already known. * I just have the regular package, not the upgraded sports package.

Only problem is, DirecTV has had the channel since 2005 or so

You had to get the sports package prior to 06/01/09.

The funny thing is about a month or two ago I heard this rumor. So, I decided to check with directv about it. I sent them an e-mail asking about it and the replied that they had no plans to include espnu in their basic package.
A few weeks later there it is...part of the basic package. I am extremely pleased by this.
