I assume that is without Hagans and Reid. Honestly, I don't care about pre-season rankings. I would rather be 3 than 1.

The real question is, how good is Nevada going to be? Brought back almost everyone and added a McDonald's all American. Good team and will be a handful come March.

UVA right back up there heading for another annual letdown.
i think they will get over the hump (ff) at some point. sometimes to win big you got to lose big first. i don’t however see them ever winning a title with that style of play.

Be careful switching accounts back and forth in the same thread. It will eventually catch up to you.

Oh... and Auburn is a little sister and deserves no respect. Win a tourney game or shut up.
Actually Auburn did win a tourney game last year.

Oh I stand corrected.....

(Thanks for the segway, lol)

That's correct Auburn did win ONE NCCA Tournament game.

The first tourney win in 15 years.

Defeated the mighty Cougars of Charlestown.

Then was promptly thumped by 31 by Clemson????
CofC is a damn fine club. My Alma mater as well

KU is going to miss Graham. Been their heart and soul for the past 2-3 years.

Hard to imagine them being better with a transfer leading the way at PG.

I’m curious to see if they revise them once UK adds Reid Travis and Ashton Hagans.

There are still a number of teams adding players, too.

Look at Parrish’s CBS poll where he predicts:

OUR CEILING:
Kentucky
  • Coach: John Calipari
  • 2017-18 record: 26-11
  • Notable players definitely gone: Kevin Knox, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Hamidou Diallo, Wenyan Gabriel, Jarred Vanderbilt, Sacha Killeya-Jones, Tai Wynyard
  • Other expected departures: None
  • Notable players expected to return: PJ Washington, Quade Green, Nick Richards, Brad Calipari, Jemarl Baker
  • Expected additions: Keldon Johnson, Immanuel Quickly, Tyler Herro, E.J. Montgomery
  • Why the Wildcats are ranked here: Two of the top five scorers -- specifically PJ Washington and Quade Green -- are back from a team that advanced to the Sweet 16. Combine that with the nation's No. 2 recruiting class (that will improve if/when five-star Class of 2019 guard Ashton Hagans reclassifies), and the Wildcats are worthy of yet another preseason top-five rating. And if Stanford transfer Travis Reid enrolls, as expected, watch out. A second national title is in play for John Calipari

YOUR CEILING:
#10 Auburn
  • Coach: Bruce Pearl
  • 2017-18 record: 26-8
  • Notable players definitely gone: Mustapha Heron, Davion Mitchell, Desean Murray
  • Other expected departures: None
  • Notable players expected to return: Bryce Brown, Austin Wiley, Danjel Purifoy, Jared Harper, Chuma Okeke, Anfernee McLemore, Horace Spencer, Malik Dunbar
  • Expected additions: Samir Doughty
  • Why the Tigers are ranked here: The Tigers are losing Mustapha Heron to transfer, which is surprising. But they were expected to lose him anyway, one way or another, so the end result is the same. And, even with that development, Auburn is still returning six of the top eight scorers from a team that shared the SEC regular-season title last season. So another league championship is very much a possibility.
Read the last line and know your place.
