Arkansas will be a good team, but still at the bottom of the west imo. Arkansas' defense carried them last year and they lose their 3 best defensive players (philon, flowers, and spaight)

Why is Ole Miss ranked so high? Ranked #8 in the nation and 3rd for the SEC West....? They are losing Bo Wallace, Cody Prewitt, and Treadwell, their best receiver, may or may not be the same athlete after he is finished recovering from his injury. That's a pretty lofty ranking when you consider all of that.

Because they have 4, thats right 4, potential first round draft picks and 2 on each side of the ball. Do they have some question marks? Sure, but I bet there is some positive relationship between wins and how many first round draft picks you have in a particular season.

Is Auburn really expected to tank that much?

State was ranked 19th preseason by these people last year.

It ranks the West:

Alabama
LSU
Mississippi
Arkansas
Texas A&M
Auburn
MSU

Being ranked last feels ridiculous, but everybody in the West should be good this year.
I mean, I still require evidence that the horseshoe/rabbit's foot/monkey's paw has been surgically removed from Gus Malzahn's ***.

And an all american at cb. Plus they still have no running game and a ****** oline. The best statistical QB in their history is gone and the only qb's they have with experience wouldn't start on any other sec team except for maybe Vandy. Yeah, sounds like a top ten team to me.

Don't forget they have no running game and two of their best running backs left the team. I am sure their defense will be good to possibly great but the offense is going to cost them a few games.
