I wonder if there is anything in sports that is dumber.

It is dumber than the Potato Bowl (last year featuring Utah State vs Akron, who also have the dumbest nickname, the Zips, which is also not quite as dumb).
It is dumber than the NFL catch rule.
It is dumber than the NBA All Star game.
It is dumber than the "one-and-done" rule.
It is even dumber than the Ball family.
Well, maybe not the Ball family.
