Conference pride be damned, there is NOTHING I would like more than to see tOSU lose today to close out Meyer's little farewell tour.
Go Huskies! Peterson is a very classy guy and runs a first rate program. Meyer defends wife beaters and covers up their crimes.

Glad he is going away from coaching. There is a track record there of poor decisions and poor influence on young impressionable players.

Never thought I would see another college marching band, other than the sooners, playing " Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweeping down the plains" during their halftime show. I'm sure Oklahomans will take it!!

Their halftime show must have been Broadway musicals - they closed with "Phantom of the Opera". I would have preferred hearing "Tequila" and "Bow Down to Washington" but that's just me.
At least the stadium is basically full. From people I have talked to that went to the Rose bowl when nu was there, the stadium sucks and is a terrible venue to watch a game. Really low angle and far away from the field. Sound goes up and crowd doesn't really affect the game. History but nothing else.
To Pac 8 - 10 -12 fans The Rose Bowl is indeed the "Granddaddy of them all" when it comes to bowl games. From the Rose Bowl parade to the game that's the ultimate for the Pac conference.
Add to that parking is awful,traffic is worse and the seats
are as uncomfortable as any in any stadium.
I heard you basically park in something like a golf course and walk about a half mile to a mile. True??
Yes a long walk, but the golf course fills up and then you have to park even further away on residential and the residents hire security to barricade off their streets (which I think is BS). The whole parking situation sucks.
Urb will be coaching Notre Dame or USC in a few years.
