I don't mind stuff like that, especially because Edwards and Maxey know each other and were dueling all game long. The game is supposed to be fun. They're 18 years old.

The ESPN tweet is them evolving to generate revenue. Highlights with captions like that, or youtube videos where random words are capitalized are what it takes to draw eyeballs with the market saturated and everyone fighting for attention. A 15-minute balanced clip with an analysis of the nuances of the game is going to be ignored. They're in the entertainment business.

Last night we had played 12 seconds in the 2nd half before the skinny white dude called a foul and it was a touch foul on Sestina for his 3rd.
I wish they would just call the obvious fouls and not these fingernail slap type calls. It's killing the game. I know they are up close to the action and we're watching on TV, but the announcers are saying what we're saying and when we watch the replays, our suspicions are proven.

How many times a game do we hear the announcers say "oh, he got away with one there" or "he got fouled" when referring to the other team? It's constant.

EJ got away with a travel last night, but we certainly didn't get away with too many fouls, if any. I think Sestina reached in on a guy taking a shot late in the game that could have been called, but I think even the refs realized that they had to lay off a little at that point.

Every game ends up with good players on the bench in foul trouble, why won't the NCAA do something about this?

I mean, our guys are constantly in a position where they have to just let a guy score so they don't take a chance that their shirt might brush the guy taking the shot. It's ridiculous and even worse if you're a big man.

Nick picked up his second foul because he brought his arms up when he had position on the defender. He was bringing his hands up to call for the ball. What kind of ******** is that? So our key big guy is on the bench now for the rest of the half because of THAT???

it's garbage.

I went back and watch that move and he didn't travel. He pivoted on his right foot and it never moved after that. He did shuffle his left foot but the right never moved. Bilas was wrong.

Yeah, I was just searching for anything that we could have gotten away with.

I want fair play, I don't want refs to give us a break or favor us in any way, I hate that, but I hate it even more when we continue to get hosed by these guys.

There was a couple of times that Brooks was riding the back of the rebounder and I was shocked they didn't call a foul on him.

I went back and watched the game. The announcers said the foul was on Sestina who had little if any contact but the PA announcer said the foul was on Maxey who reached in. They didn't show a replay so it was hard to tell if there was contact but the funny thing was the ref who called it would have had a hard time seeing it because Maxey was between him and the play.

Oh yeah, we get em twice. That should be fun to watch.

But you know, all these dudes are jawing, happens in every game, Edwards just took it to another level.
When I saw that couldn't help but recall when Francisco Garcia and other UL players were dancing and beating their chest at halftime when they had us down by a good bit at Louisville. That was the game when we came back to win with Patrick Sparks big three point shot if anyone recalls.

I'm with ya. I rather enjoyed the smack talk. Makes the game more fun to watch.

Georgia had a great crowd and this was their biggest home game of the year. The players were eating the energy up.

You know Maxey was talking snack right back it just wasnt so obvious.
