Thanks for posting. I don't care what's happened with Rex since his playing days.
He was a mega star in high school and then at UK. I remember after his breakout game at UofL when he scored 26 points and we CURB STOMPED the Cards, Sutton put his arm around Sutton on national TV and said in a drunken slur, "This boy is my son!"

Still had no reason to claim Calipari was leaving in 2014 hours before the title game.
Not a boomer, so never got to see him play. But the "Cal to LaLa Land" junk before the natty game was hella ratchet
What do you think a boomer is? I remember seeing him play. I guess I was 8-9 at the time. I also remember the "Young and the Rexless" shirts that followed. It was a sad, sad time.

Totally false! The players, coaching staff and most importantly the fans heard about it hours before the game. It was a total kick in the nuts to the fan base. It was the worst Final Four atmosphere ever in Dallas before the game. The guy only cares about himself and was a drug addict and a big time thief. He may have “changed” his life, but I don’t have anything good to say about him. What he did to the fan base for his own personal gain was terrible.
The players were quoted several times saying they did not see or hear about the tweet. But you know better, tight?
Of course the players were going to say that. They are told what to say to the press about certain things.
I was in the elevator with some of the players and administrative staff in the team hotel prior to them leaving for the stadium and they definitely knew.
