Latest ESPN mock draft has Moreno going #32 to the LA Clippers and Momcilivic #34 to the Bulls. JQ was projected to go in the first round at #20 to San Antonio. Graves was at #22 to the Sixers.
Graves is a tweener with underwhelming athleticism. Any other year he and Moreno would be around the 50 spot. JQ has athleticism you can't teach. If he had no knee injury he would be a top 7 or 8 pickAs a SAS fan, I would take Graves at 20 over JQ.
Most every player in the NBA is athletic. Maybe JQ can shoot at an NBA level for his size with practice but sure doesn’t look like it just yet. I don’t think Athleticism alone gets you into the top 10 any longer but who knows.Graves is a tweener with underwhelming athleticism. Any other year he and Moreno would be around the 50 spot. That I know but you said a top 10 pick if he didn’t have the injury history. Top 10 picks should be well rounded players, JQ is not that.He won't be because injury
Any other year? This draft is stacked.Graves is a tweener with underwhelming athleticism. Any other year he and Moreno would be around the 50 spot. JQ has athleticism you can't teach. If he had no knee injury he would be a top 7 or 8 pick
He was projected top five pick when we signed him last year purely on his athletic ability. A player like Moreno will never be rated that highly because he's unathletic. That I know but you said a top 10 pick if he didn’t have the injury history. Top 10 picks should be well rounded players, JQ is not that.
Yes any other year there's been 20 people ahead of him come back to collegeAny other year? This draft is stacked.
JQ would be the perfect backup center to Victor Wembanyama for the Spurs. As an athletic, high-energy big man, he could be highly effective as a rim protector and a weapon in the pick-and-roll offense. While I don't see any scenario where Moreno is selected ahead of JQ, stranger things have happened."As a SAS fan, I would take Graves at 20 over JQ.
SAS fan too - that pick is gold for them. Would love Morez to fall. They need a legit 4 - too many guards. Will be lot's good options here. They also have 3 picks in the early second, would think a backup big could be a good fit.As a SAS fan, I would take Graves at 20 over JQ.
There are 3 players I think would fit great with SAS.SAS fan too - that pick is gold for them. Would love Morez to fall. They need a legit 4 - too many guards. Will be lot's good options here. They also have 3 picks in the early second, would think a backup big could be a good fit.
Thunder have 12 and 17. These two squads are so set up.
It’s insanely stacked.Any other year? This draft is stacked.
Not true at all. It's about potential. Very few college kids go to the draft with an already well rounded game. It's the ones that have the potential to be well rounded that go high. That I know but you said a top 10 pick if he didn’t have the injury history. Top 10 picks should be well rounded players, JQ is not that.
This is the first I've heard/read this comment. Everyone else is saying this is one of the deepest draft classes in years.Graves is a tweener with underwhelming athleticism. Any other year he and Moreno would be around the 50 spot. JQ has athleticism you can't teach. If he had no knee injury he would be a top 7 or 8 pick
