I hate it too. Very distracting. And in real life, the strike zone is fluid for each player. ESPN's doesn't appear to be.

Fox's automated strike zone sits opposite side of the batter and is a great tool to see where the pitch is. It's way better and not distracting at all.

Fox's graphic is definitely better, but honestly I wish they would only show it after close pitches instead of leaving it up all the time.

Well i like to see the pitch location on even non taken pitches too especially homeruns. Umpires need it too to ensure they get better and maintain consistency and not have their own personal strikezone.

Agreed. There really is no such thing as a judgement call in baseball (other than official scorers). Umps are only needed to maintain civility, everything else can be done by computers and sensors.
