Greenberg just said the ACC was top heavy with only UNC, Duke, and maybe UL being really good.

Is this the same network that was saying just a week ago that 10 possibly 11 teams should get in? They acted like it was a crime that an 18-14 Syracuse team didn't get in.

If you go back and look at their OOC performance, it wasn't that great.

UNC lost to UK and IU. Duke lost to Kansas in a game Kansas was up by double digits with like 2 minutes to go.

Florida State and Duke both beat up on a road weary Florida team that was nowhere near what they are now.

UL was really the only team in the conference to get multiple impressive OOC wins.

There's no question UNC and Duke have gotten better over the course of the season. But I'm still skeptical of Duke. They should breeze to the FF at this point with Nova out of the way. I don't think it happens though.

I will admit, I think UNC is a lock. They were the team I most wanted to avoid.

Including the NIT, the SEC is 2-0 in post season play vs the ACC. Granted after today I think they are 2-2. But that would be like Kentucky and Florida beating Wake Forest and Clemson... not overly impressive.

They ONLY way to stop them (ESPN) is to make an compilation of sound bites over then past year and go viral with it. I'm sick of these ESPN clowns never having to be accountable!

FSU and ND were tied for the second best ACC record , Virginia had the same conference record as Duke . All three got destroyed and there was no visible gap between them and the three left in the tournament . The ACC is not top heavy but it will look that way because Duke got the best draw again and UNC plays nobody until the E8 . The ACC was overrated this year .

Before the tournament started, I boasted to an annoying North Carolina fan at work that "the ACC teams will drop like flies, there won't be more than 2 in the Sweet 16..."
He quickly offered up a $20 bet on it. I'm ashamed to say that I didn't take him up on it.

Maybe I need to replace Greenburg, I gave said that back nearly January. The ACC had maybe 4 good teams and feed off the bottom dwellers.

ACC is now 6 and 5. Only the Big East at 5 and 5 has a worse record. These were the top two leagues according to KenPom.

ACC is 6-7. Wake, Virginia, UL, FL st, virginia tech, Notre dame, and Miami are gone.

Remember that Duke deserved a #1 seed because they recovered from losing 3 out of 4 by winning the ACC Tournament against such an awesome gauntlet of teams of which 1 is left in the NCAA. Did they really deserve a #2? Doubt it. It looks like the overrating at least bought UNC*** (The best cheaters of all time), UL (stripper pimps), and Duke (trippers extraordinaire) some wins against much lower seeded teams.

You guys some obsession issues with the ACC. You have more ACC threads than threads on your own team.
That's because ACC good/SEC bad hype machine gets cranked up even before the season starts. Hell I wouldn't even care except that it affects our seed. Our losses get overvalued, while yours don't count. We're not a 1 seed because we lost a road game to a border rival early in the conference schedule.

I don't see sc or Ark winning , they just don't have the arsenal to score . If theres a chance it will be because UNC or Duke is cold and in foul trouble , small chance but that's why they play the games .

Well, at least they'll have in the back of their player's mind the fact that all the rest of the ACC has dropped and all the talking heads prognistications of dominance were wrong.

Just paying our respects to the fallen. We're so used to hearing about how great the ACC is we don't know what this week will be like with ESPN not having anyone but Carolina to talk about. Could be worse. We could be on your board talking.

They won't say though that Duke should have been a 3 seed at least and UK with there winning streak and winning the SEC Tourney could have easily been a 1 seed. The only excuse is we get beat by Tennessee was why we lost the 1 seed. If you look at both UNC and Duke they had at least 1 bad loss each. Arkansas should have beaten UNC tonight being up 5 at 65-60 with 2 and half minutes to go and then let UNC outscore them 12-0 to win 72-65. We could had 4 SEC teams in the Sweet 16.
