Didn’t see anyone post this, but it was something I really enjoyed about today’s broadcast.

No commercials. Every break and timeout they just went to a camera in Rupp and broadcast what was happening during the breaks. Got to see them honor the football Cats during one of the breaks which was awesome. Really gave you the feel of being at the game. Didn’t see anyone else comment on it. Did anyone else see this?

Yes it was awesome. Started a thread about it during the game but it quickly died. I guess it was just you and me enjoying the best UK broadcast ever. The cameras at Rupp are normally so grainy. It was completely different watching in 4K.

We enjoyed watching the jumbotron during timeouts just like when we go in person.

Sorry I didn’t catch your thread during the game! Yeah me and my son were really enjoying it! Some doofus in an orange shirt was right in front of the camera. Guess he had a bad day.

I thought it was a mistake on the first commercial break and someone had forgotten to hit a button to cut away or something. Then it carried on the whole game, even through halftime.
We were on YouTube TV too. They were streaming even before 1pm so we watched the Coach Hall tribute and moment of silence before the game. Saw the halftime show too.

They should offer a $20/season package to watch Rupp during the timeouts instead of commercials.

Man had I known that I would have turned it on early! I turned on the game right at tip-off.

Yes, absolutely loved it. The rest of the games I watched looked fuzzy in comparison!

It's a shame 4k isn't standard considering most TV's you buy today support it. Most stations are only broadcasting in 720 or less still. The 4k broadcast was crystal clear. Unfortunately, it's a $20 add-on charge for YouTube TV.
