This is why I asked. East Surry has already played Reidsville this year. So tarheel said that East Surry is no longer on Reidsville's schedule and I asked if Reidsville has their fall 2021 schedule.

wish there could have been a way to keep East Surry/Reidsville matchup...enjoyed the nice trip to Pilot Mtn...great part of the state...used to love hiking on the mountain but I'm slowing down a bit now and haven't done it in a few years.......should be a slobber knocker on the ES/Mt. Airy game....I'll be watching the updates closely............
I'm itching to watch the game tomorrow night. Going to be a physical and close game all night. I don't think there will be much scoring and the defenses will take over. My Final Prediction: 49-0 East, Go Cards!

Yes, I saw the NWC several weeks ago. Going to be a great gate for the NWC this fall.
East Surry is better coached and more physical than Mount Airy. MA has the athletes, but didn’t have the toughness. ES was very sloppy and the officials did everything they could to keep MA in the game, but East is better.
Mount Airy Played a good football game tonight with only 6 seniors and East Surry was sloppy and knew MA could keep with them. ES did not score in the 1st, Qtr, or 2nd half but they won, got to give them that.
East is a better football team and a better coached team. Mt Airy was a really small team over all! Their WR were not very good did not have very good hands. Mt Airy defense was pretty quick and tackled well. The Refs keep Mt Airy in the game with a terrible interference call and a double that they didn't give them. I know East Surry may have held a lot but no more than Mt Airy. I didn't have a dog in the fight but East was the better team.
ROTFLMAO blame it on the Refs. East want make it out of the west this year. Count on that. No NWC team will. Probably Mitchell's year !
You maybe be right but I was not talking about how far they go they just have a better team than Mt Airy. East is not as good as they were last year but their offense is totally different.
They were not that good tonight, only winning by 7 when their fans were saying a 40 & 49 point win. May have been a different game without the rain delay. We will never know.
Don't think so by what I seen. I thought East ran the ball much better than Mt Airy just to many penalities for East when they were driving!
Mitchell may go small, so might not get the chance to find out, we'll see soon enough. As far as East Surry fans saying they would win by 40, no actual East Surry fan said that. The one post that said that you keep bringing up is obviously somebody's alt or burner account who's not an actual fan. You can read the past posts and figure that out pretty quickly. Might actually be one of yours 
Don't think so East could not score enough to win by 40. I thought maybe by 21 but they has to many yellow flags on 3 or 4 of their drives. They may meet up again in a couple of weeks if both make it that far.
Mount Airy was bailed out by a PI call and a fumble, the PI was a terrible call and the fumble should have never been called dead. Without those penalties, MA never scores.

Another thing, stop saying Lowman wins with Diamont’s players and all that other BS. Lowman wins with his players, he’s the head coach and has kids playing that wouldn’t have previously played. Lowman has and had kids last year in positions that Diamont refused to look at. You always say you support the NWC teams, at this point, no one wants your support so cheer for your bears and keep your mouth shut on things you know nothing about.

ncball04 you must have been part of the Daddy ball club that kicked ol'Dave to the curb. Coach Diamont's mission in life was to take young boys and turn them into young men and while doing that win a few games at ES. Those players where Diamont's players and if Daddy ball doesn't show its ugly head Coach Diamont wins his first state championship regardless of who is the QB.
Bears didn’t have enough offense to win the game...had opportunities but not enough offense....East D against the run was difference; Bear D didn’t play bad ...hate it was last time they’ll play for conference ‘ship for a few years;
MA had no running game. MA coach ran between tackles 3 times in row and punt 3 different times. When he let Poindexter throw they moved the ball. ES scores 10 points off turnovers. MA fumbled and had 2 ints. ES very good up front. ES better coaching alot better. Adkins can't win big games nvr has. Time for a change in MA. Talent is there! Poindexter will be missed he is special player.
It was a game between two very good teams. Both defenses came to play. ES did a great job of shutting down MA’s run game. Turnovers killed any momentum MA would begin to have. MA’s defense did a great job of not allowing ES to just pound the football. The field conditions had a lot to do with both offenses being held in check. Both teams have a chance to make long runs.
Sounds like a great game, I listened to it up to the Rain Delay. These two will play again, maybe next week or maybe in a few weeks. Could be a different out come, could be the same. Cant take anything away from the cards. Hopefully not next week as these two could very well be playing in the western regional. Two evenly matched teams like we thought. Was impressed with the work on the line by the Bears, where they are young. I have to be honest the cards have MEN upfront and they are as good as advertised, so for the Bears to not allow any sacks and to hold the cards to 17 , that's pretty good. The comment about the Bears receiver's, They have had butter fingers all year, just not last night, got to improve there. Moore would have better numbers if the receiver's could hold on to the ball. Poindexter usually puts it on point, but would love to see him run it a little more. Gonna miss seeing the cards for a conference championship every year. Gonna Touch on the Lowman / Diamont Drama, I live in the community, Diamont was done Dirty , no hiding that, But I couldn't be happier with what you see Lowman / coaching staff and parents doing with the kids to get them to the next level. Surry county has been blessed with talent for years , next level talent, just never had no one to advocate for them, finally they do and it has forced area teams to up there game in that regard , to advocate for their players. Sad it took so long. So hats off to the group in pilot , job well done. Now let keep our fingers crossed for this matchup in pilot mtn in a few weeks vs next week , good luck to both on the road to the ship

You know I miss worded that and corrected it. As I said stop with your BS . You have not heard me brag on Mount Airy this year. They did do better than I expected last night. I said the game would be won by someone by 2 TDs. Was figuring on it being ES but it was by 1 TD. A win is a win by 1 or by 50. Someone did say ES would win by 40 but seems they deleted that. It was on a thread last week.
