The first game was a major let down for Erwin and a huge comeback for ACR. Both teams since that game took a completely different course. ACR cruised through conference and Erwin struggled mostly due to injuries and a lack of motivation. Someone in the Mac is guaranteed a 3rd round game. Thoughts from everyone?

I have been looking forward to this game since that major heartbreaker a little over a month ago. The Reynolds guys have been all class on here this year even after they won the first game. I have respect for that. I didn't make it to Sun valley last night but I heard Ferguson looked much healthier then he did the Asheville game. Reynolds is playing better then any team in wnc right now so they will be the favorites. You can't beat this though. Two rival teams miles apart playing for a 3rd rd playoff spot. No predictions yet, but that will come.

i think its goin to be a great game. lots of scoring. i do think our defense has improved. my prediction coming soon.
I picked ACR in the first match up, but I like Erwin this go around. QB is healthy at the right time, and honestly those boys just seem to never give up. If the Warrior D shows up at all I'll take Erwin by 1. Both teams have shown tons of heart this season and it sucks that one of them will get knocked out after this game. Good luck to both teams, and who ever wins I hope they make it all the way.

I thibk ACR has a big advantage in the kicking game, and St. Onge has really improved his passing during the season and he is also a dangerous runner. Should be a good one. Hopefully, we won't have any discussions about officiating after this game.

Understandable we see it differently. I mean from Erwin's perspective we choked away a 21 point lead in the fourth.
For Reynolds they have improved some since the 1st game and they did actually win that first game.

Erwin would have won the last game if their coach didn't call a pass play on 3rd down when Reynolds had no timeouts left with 90 seconds left. That still boggles my mind why they did that. Erwin literally could have taken a knee on 3rd down and run the clock down under a minute and punted the ball away. With all the bs questionable calls both ways and a lead squandered, Erwin was still in complete control until that play call.
Agree 100 percent, but we did have a kid drop the ball on a walk in Td on that play.
This game looks like the last one with the teams reversed. Erwin is very flat. I don't care what they say but Damien Ferguson. He has not been the same qb since he got hurt. He looks so out of sync like he did the the Asheville game. Oh well, that's the way it goes.
