Impressive win on the road tonight vs a scrappy bunch from Heritage. They are a pretty good team and should finish around 8-2 or so. Erwin played without their qb so we got to see the running game. Isaiah Poore looked really good. He has a real burst and should get the ball more. Time to get ready for another out of state team.

Congrats on the win Erwin. It's funny I was just asking you the other day BD if ya'll had ever thought about using Chase Austin at QB and there he was tonight. I followed ya'lls game on the ACT site while following a few others on here tonight. If the Poore kid is as good as advertised I expect at some point we'll see him in the wildcat sometime down the road.
Haha. Chase is a great receiver, but qb? He had 3 picks last night but did what he needed to win the game. Everyone in the Erwin community that had seen Poore in middle school knew how special of a player he is. You can't teach that kind of speed.
