The Omaha kids have gotten a lot of attention, but this kid is suddenly racking up the offers too. Nebraska, Minnesota, Virginia, Kansas, Kansas State and Boston College have all offered the past few weeks.

He seems like a similar player to Randolph Kpai. Hope we can land him.

EDIT: Looks like he picked up an Arizona State offer while I was typing this.

If we can land him and Devon Jackson we’ll be dang good at the linebacker spot.

We have to lock down the borders the next few years. Lot of top talent in state. Aside from AD, who was leaving the Midwest regardless, this staff has done a dang good job recruiting Nebraska kids.

I have to admit, I was surprised by his pic. Ernest Hausmann from Columbus, NE sounds like the name of the whitest kid you know.

The 2022 in-state class is loaded (Woods, Jackson, Riley, Helms, Hausmann). I hope I'm wrong but would not be surprised if Frost struck out on all 5 of them.

Why? Frost has landed 13 of the 16 instate kids he’s offered and has had Top 20 overall classes every year.

He could but I heard we have a good chance with Helms, Woods and Hausmann. The other two will be very tough to keep instate.

I think there is a solid chance with Riley. Jackson sounds like a very, very long shot.

Also anyone know anything about the kid at LSE (Applegate?). I’ve heard he is good and could also warrant an offer.

And I doubt both of Bell West’s TEs go to the same college

I think Riley has a good relationship with Fidone

Helms recently got an OU offer and seems to like the Sooners. Plus we took 3 TEs in the 2021 class, so I think it will be hard to land either Helms or Riley in this class.

With Hausmann we might have a decent chance, but he is blowing up - several major offers today including Michigan.

Jackson, Woods, and Riley will have their choice of about any school in the country. It will be hard to convince them to play for a team that has had 4 losing seasons in a row.

Dog gonit, with losing all the kids that devommitted or transferred because wanting to be closer to home and family..... Surely turn about is fair play karma 😌

Maybe he will wait on his decision until the end of next season when that string is SNAPPED.
