Yea there are a lot of Military families moving to Larue county. Why because It's a peaceful community. They could settle in Hardin County but drugs & crime push them to settle in a safer place for there family.

She was leaning to going out of state, but coach Mitchell pushed UK completely out of the picture.
Had very little to do with Mitchell. Read for yourselves what she said help guide her to Notre Dame. Here is what she said in a recent interview:

“I want to help to try to win a national championships. I aspire to play int he WNBA one day, I want to play overseas one day, and I knew when I made the decision, I thought this was the best place that would make me the best person and player that I can be,” Boley said. “I’m looking to mature all the way around while I’m there.”

Notre Dame hasn’t missed the tournament since 1993, and has won four straight conference championships across its membership with the Big East and then ACC. Under Muffet McGraw, it is a powerhouse basketball program, but it’s basketball prowess isn’t the only reason Boley chose Notre Dame.

“Every time I visited there, the whole atmosphere really fit my personality well. I really like the fact they emphasize service in the community, and I really like the fact that they emphasize faith,” Boley said. “I like the fact they emphasize different values like that. They obviously have high academics, they emphasize family and community service, all before athletics.”

The girl coming to UK did not get much time. Hard to say what she will be like. She certainly played within herself in the game. I would say she'll be a contributor even as a frosh

Notre dame and Stanford both had the things she was looking for. She definitely is interested in way more than just basketball. But i don't need to argue with you on whether or not Mitchell was an influence that completely ruled uk out.. Family gets that type information first hand.

I spoke with an announcer for the Hoops team about Boley. She said that UK felt they were always running in second behind UConn and Boley herself told Mitchell that she loved her visit to Storrs. Apparently UK was as surprised as UConn when she picked Notre Dame.
