I was there too and more or less happened right in front of me. I was definitely "in a state" for quite some time after witnessing it.

I was recently on a tour of Met Life Stadium and they took us through the press area, pointing out pictures of various events... first game, first concert, etc. The guide pointed out the picture of the first college game... I mentioned the other significance of that game and he was taken back a little and thanked me for that information and would add it to his "script".

That was very tough RU game to attend. I just remember being so down after the game. Keep doing what your doing Eric! You have been a great representative of the school and a role model on how to maintain a positive attitude despite dealing with significant adversity.

I was also at the game and knew the LeGrand family We lived in Iselin for 14 years and my oldest son competed against Eric in basketball and baseball ( fyi Eric was a great young baseball player ) From our seats in the end zone I could see them bring his Mom on the field and I thought the situation was even worse then it was Looking back I’ ish they had stopped the game there. I don’t know how either team was able to play
