Completely disagree. You don't live in a city with a lot of PSU alumni who absolutely LOVE to talk **** about Rutgers. The NJ alumni base - whether or not they were born here - MAKE IT a "rivalry" whether the rest think so or not.

Also, again, there are PLENTY of rivalries in which one school has/had dominated the other - in a multitude of sports not named "football" as well as football and hoops - for decades. Why? They're border states. They share a lot of students and alumni between one another. Families are divided as are friends. They live and work next to one another. I can continue but I'll stop lol!

There is a reason they talk ****
We beat them at almost nothing
and constantly talk **** about them

I live in Florida.
People here dont care one Iota about PSU or the b10 for that matter
plus
Ive never worked NOR lived with any PSU grads
and its working for me

Honestly, being a PSU alum, me nor any other alum that I know goes out of their way to talk crap about Rutgers. If RU is brought up, will many PSU fans laugh and crack jokes about Rutgers? Yes, absolutely. But, it's more of a big brother/little brother relationship, and the fact that many Penn Staters do not believe that RU deserves to be in the B10 -- which, I can't say that anything has been done on the court or field to change that thought. RU is not on my mind very often, with the exception of hearing a score or seeing highlights.

^ Not meaning to talk trash with those comments, but I know that they will come across that way

Didn't read a single item in this ridiculously long thread. Guy at our tailgate refers to PSU as the Shower Predators. He mentioned that he was disappointed to learn that Harvey Weinstein is a Buffalo grad.

Yet you found the time to come on here and write your dissertation on the subject. Know what most people do when something isn't on their mind much? Not write an essay about it.
