there are threads about Rutgers on other boards all the time. UCONN, Cuse, The mainboard, hell even your board. The difference is we don't feel the need to go and defend RU. It's as if you guys have a team of posters who scour the internet looking for negative posts so you can defend JoPa and PSU. How would you even know about the threads if you weren't already lurking?

yeah.. serious.. in reply to a claim there was no "systemic" abuse. THAT is the message you should have replied to with "not sure if serious" because the "system" was certainly used to hide the abuse and the abuser. At least with the Catholic Church there was some in-grained belief in redemption and penance where they could naively believe the pedophile priests could all be helped and changed... WRONG, of course... but with the way Sandusky was allowed to continue using his access to Penn State football... SYSTEMIC is an apt descriptor.

I don't understand the PSU fan on here saying that PSU fans are going to be on our board when we post a PSU thread...is there an alert they get whenever a PSU thread shows up anywhere? Because I don't know how to set that up so that I can get an alert that another board is talking about RU. I would actually have to go out of my way looking for them, wouldn't I?

There is nothing positive that can be said about domestic violence and nearly all of us were embarrassed and ashamed that one of ours did what he did. But are you trying to compare that to decades of using PSU as a safe haven for raping young boys? Seriously?
