I sat on my deck yesterday afternoon with a scotch and my best friend ( who happens to be my wife ) enjoying an unseasonably warm Nebraska day....reflecting on a few things and I concluded that there are a few things at this moment in time that I don’t care about..
..understanding that I may have mad cow disease: )
I don’t care if HCSF is coaching UCF in a bowl game......who all the new assistants will be....whether Matt Davison is going to be working in the Athletic Department...what UCF fans think about our hire and how it was handled....whether we are a blue blood....who is staying or leaving from our current roster....and lastly if another team in our division “sucks” or not.
What I care about is that we FINALLY have a coach that will unite the fans...and gives us hope. I haven’t been this excited about Nebraska football in a very long time....so for now....I’m going to enjoy my scotch....smoke my cigar....visit with my best friend...and just enjoy the moment.....even if I have mad cow disease : )
