So, Emoni’s two favorite schools growing up were michigan state and kentucky. Orlando was recruiting Bates hard at UI and Bates’ father played at a kentucky college. A few hours after Nolan Hickman decommits, Bates does also. Hmm....
I don’t think one has to do with the other BUT I will say with the ncaa planning to allow players to make endorsement money playing college basketball May be more lucrative than g league.

So Hickman found out Bates is comin to UK and decided to bolt? Seems like one hell of a reach. Bates just doing what everyone knew he was going to do and heading to the G League.

But Hardy isn't a PG either....
I don’t think it matters. You get those two guys and mintz at the point or even wheeler and it’s a dominate team. There are plenty of options when you have a team with those guys on it. I mean it’s a pipe dream but if UK added those guys and a guy to bring the ball up and distribute immediately they go to Gonzaga level

If they did do that the NCAA must be allowing players to get endorsements. Only way..
I think that’s where things are headed and UK has probably the most to offer with an entire state that supports the school. In Nc for instance the market is divided up. Kentucky is all UK and a little bit UL but not much

Bates is a post player? lol leadbelly
I mean he's 6'9ish and is an elite shot blocker. He can certainly shoot well enough, and seems to handle pretty well for a guy his size. An argument can be made that he can play on the wing, but at the next level he will be a stretch 4. Sounds a lot more like a post than a PG or guard at all for that matter.

Agree on stretch 4 comment. He’s a wing though, who can also handle the ball a little. I think Hickman is gone because Adam Miller is coming.

Don't get me wrong, I loved those two. But what did Wall and Boogey do? Besides Cal not knowing what to do against a 1 / 3 / 1. They watched the final four from a spectator's position.

I’m talking about the super team aspect. They actually didn’t do much considering the players they had
