Emoji Keyboard

Disclaimer: not that I use emojis but...
Was curious as to what all of this hype was about so I downloaded it.... First impression is that it seems pointless, as it isn't like any of the other emoji icons on my phone. You have to copy and paste and it is an actual attachment of a full image not like simply inserting other emojis in a string of text.
Hopefully I'm just old and out of touch with how these things work.

Whether or not you're an emoji fan at least you could understand how to activate the keyboard in your phone's settings so that it performs the way it was intended.

I mean why knock it if you don't understand how it works on the front end?

The whole "copy/paste" attachment concept is not really hard to use.

The size and the fact it doesn't work on Twitter is disappointing but I am sure they will figure those issues out.

Agree on both points. That said, these emojis are /100 /thumbs up /smiley face.

They aren't really emojis. It seems like a small scale picture. I tried to use them in my group me app and it blew up to normal size.

Some people are tweeting these things. I can't tweet them, but they work for me in DMs. Weird.

Same. Not really emojis at this point... Need to be scaled down and nuanced. As normal emojis, I would use them pretty regularly. But are too in-your-face as currently done.

DS is correct. These emojis just appear to be static images. Press and hold and you should have an option to save. Then you can insert it into your tweet like a regular image.

Mine seems to work like other keyboards in twitter and messages with a couple of quirks like the images coming through like full sized pictures in twitter instead of a small emoji. (This isn't from cutting and pasting; it's just hitting the smiley key and selecting one.)

Also adding an image seems to want to erase the recipients that I added first. Weird.
