I think the offer was made some time ago -- a left handed shot blocker averaging 12 and 9 in JC.

I like his size and physicality, but as a lefty, I never saw him go up with his right hand or show any moves using his right hand. Coaches in the B1G will figure him out right away. He would need a lot of work to make himself a more complete player. But he does move well and he shoots well (with his left hand) from within 5 feet of the basket.

At this late stage in the recruiting season a 2 year player is just what we need as there are not many bigs still available for 2019. We need a 4 or a 5 that can give us some minutes and doesn't have to be a starter. Bench players are very important especially at the 5 where Myles seems to often gets into foul trouble.

The team needs to replace Shaq's 18.3 minutes per game as well as his defense. Doorson has not been a big scorer so Ugboh can help fill that void. He would need to give us about 12-15 minutes per game.

The biggest need for next season isn't a back up center but rather a shooter at the small forward position.Games are won with positive outcomes at the foul line and with the 3 point shot.

You are correct about the need for a shooter but I don't think we are getting one on board until 2020 unless we get a foreign player.

If we get another player on the team to transfer we can take a shooter in 2019, if one does becomes available, and we can also take a 5..

Candito Sa ll

But if he dunks vs. soft layup a plus (yeah that Wisky game non-dunk still hurts)

Agreed. Raw and JUCO don't go together. JUCO scholarships need to go to guys who can have an immediate impact.

Absolutely. Freeman/Carter types.

Not Sa, or Ugboh types.

Sa came here because Rutgers needed to fill the roster at a desperate time.
