I agree .Michigan has shooters which Rutgers lacks and that was the difference in the game. Hopefully,at the RAC the result will be different.

We are probably going to the NCAA’s this year. Embarrassing is many things but not this team. Some act like we have been here before. We have not finished 500 for 500 years. Enjoy the ride and hope we get some offensive linemen.
With 3 mins to go Michigan was shooting 54% 3 and 50% FG, RU was 34% and 32%. And somehow it was a 2 point game with 15 secs left. Too bad
The score is always the way the game was played. It wasn't like they were up 40 and we got 35 garbage time points.
We lost by 6 while laying an egg and dealing with a ton of BS

I wouldn’t say embarrassing. But very disappointing in geo and Harper . We probably lose at Maryland . Northwestern at home will be must win. We lose that and we are in trouble

We needed 1 of 2 of the road games, we come back and beat Maryland and this "embarassing" loss is gone. What team goes unbeaten? Stop calling a 6 pt loss embarassing to a team that is capable of handing Gonzaga their only loss this year. Stop embarrassing yourself.
Stop OP. We played not our best but it was close. Our guys didn't have their best game outside of Mathis and we lost not by much.

We're not going to win every game, especially away from the RAC. If you have that impression, you're deluded.
This is the worst thread of the season
it wasnt embarrassing but that was a D effort on offense and the defense did not show up until the final 10 minutes of the game
RU should have won this game, has nothing to do with being close, its a disappointing loss because of the way we played and this game was beyond winnable

Rutgers is a solid team. They don't have the talent to be great offensively, but they are very tough on defense and contest passes and shots all over the floor. Today their only consistent offense was off live ball turnovers, which they forced a good amount of, but that same aggression also gave up a lot of easy looks when the pressure was beaten.

They shot 50% from floor and 50% from 3 and we shot 33% and 25%. We shot 30 more shots then them. We were just bad shooting today and still took it to wire.

It all came down to the pick and roll plays that we did a terrible job on. They got so many easy baskets to build the lead.
Rotations were bad, either a dunk/layup or open three.
Played about as bad as we have since Bonnies and still were in it at the end.

Not embarrassing. Disappointing, I would say. I still can't believe we took 30 plus more shots than M and lost. Nonetheless, this year's team is a huge improvement over what RU fans have been seeing for years. It's good to be once again excited by RU hoops and watch a competitive team with a chance to win just about any game.
People need to take a breath. Did you think we would win all of them? Beat them at home and we're good.
This was the away from the RAC game that was most winnable. Would have made a nice win and given ourselves a little room for a clunker.
Now reality sets in. This team will be pummeled at Maryland. Not sure how the psyche holds up after that. They’ll beat Northwestern and then win yet another game at the RAC they have no business winning for a final record of 18-13.

Maryland’s offense can be inept like ours at times. I think it’s going to be another close game.
Holy hell get a grip. We are a 45% FG team that shot 32% today. And we somehow only lost by 6 despite the BS. Sucky loss it’s ok to be mad.... but We will not be this bad every night.
