Looks who’s here bitching after every loss. UCLA is better than us at every single position. Not sure what you were expecting today. They’ve got possibly the number 1 pick in the W next year, and we maybe have 1-2 girls that could make a roster. Go to bed and chill the F out you psycho.Losing both isn't disappointing, getting completely dominated in both is
Before you make stupid sentences like this, maybe stop and think. If we’re a top 4 seed, which we will be, we get 2 games at Carver, where we are almost impossible to beat. So no, we won’t be lucky to make the sweet 16. We will be favored to make it. There’s just a big difference between the “elite” teams, (top 5-6) and the rest. We’re right there with the rest. Some teams seem to treat these southern California trips like its a vacation.
Hope they had fun because no one else did.
This team is a paper tiger. Hard to watch at times. Might get one win in the tourney. A Sweet Sixteen appearance will be a stretch.

You sure take this message board stuff seriously. Nevermind you have zero reading comprehension. Poor little guy.Looks who’s here bitching after every loss. Funny how the odds makers expected that loss..This loss was expected. The last loss wasn’t.
I hope you think about your job 24/7Lots of tik tok dancing and smiles on this 0-2 road trip. Glad they enjoyed Cali.

Step back off the ledge, and they don't need shooters they have them but what they do need to work on with current players and recruit to is guards who can create and drive to the basket. This team has been beat by 4 teams that will be in the NCAA tournament and 2 of them probably 1 seeds and coming off a tough west coast road trip trying to figure out how to play without McCabe on a regular basis. When are you ladies gonna grow some spine? And by the way, coach jGet some GD shooters!!
What job? In the case of @QCHawkeye .I hope you think about your job 24/7
tNo it's reality. I don't know if Iowa falls into tier 2 or 3 but tier 1 is a mountain away. Tier 1 teams are loaded with stars.
Article about UCLAs NIL fund give each girl at least $50k. And S. Carolina and LSU are reaching $9-10M (which is hard for me to believe, but that is what was stated in the article). USC has some stars as well and is way better than there record.
Did you mean 500k? I asked this because I know our girls are getting more than 50k.No it's reality. I don't know if Iowa falls into tier 2 or 3 but tier 1 is a mountain away. Tier 1 teams are loaded with stars.

The last few games it does seem like they've regressed to last year's problem of careless post feeds. They need to start valuing the ball better otherwise sweet 16 is the ceiling. The next few games will tell us if we're a sweet 16 or an elite 8 type of teamYes and how they looked in the process. With some really terrible bb at times
Good points. ^^ So Iowa is not a top 8 or top 10 team, let's say. They are still sitting pretty good and overall doing well. AND...there is room to improve and possibly bump up a little from here. I noticed one of the women's banners in the rafters at Carver last week for their Final 4 team showed 7 losses. Egads, even with Caitlin Clark on the squad they lost 7 games in a season, the horror. Newsflash...other teams are good too.Step back off the ledge, and they don't need shooters they have them but what they do need to work on with current players and recruit to is guards who can create and drive to the basket. That's ^^ it in a nutshell. IMO.... There’s just a big difference between the “elite” teams, (top 5-6) and the rest. We’re right there with the rest.
I know Jan ( and Bluder before CC) have always valued the post offense. Look at the numbers Gustafson, Czinano, etc put up at the Center position. And obviously the Czinano numbers were helped by CC being able to spread the floor and feeding her for her no dribble shots. Think about in the past even before CC how good we were with post players and also feeding the post. I just don't understand how we can continue to have 5-7 errant passes into the post game after game. We are particularly bad at feeding the post from the wing, but also the high/low where they sag off Stuelke or even Heiden when she's up top trying to force a pass down low just drives me crazy. We have been so good for so long at it and that is also what Jan is supposedly known for.Good points. ^^ So Iowa is not a top 8 or top 10 team, let's say. #1. Clean up the turnovers...and it isn't just the freshmen making them. #2. Let Deal "work it out" more, I think she will improve her passing and ball handling, she can surely score from her position. #3. Feature Chit-Chat more, she is legit.
NIL changes things. They are paid players now and not so much student athletes.I hope you think about your job 24/7
