This is Pope’s resume. Win a few big games and lose a bunch of bad games. Not gonna work here.
Apparently this team doesn’t take offense to getting absolutely WAXED by a middling team on the road unless they are named Vanderbilt. Now that they paid the Dores back, they decided they could get back to sucking *** again.
Wait till next year when we put our church league talent on the floor to compete with. All Americans on other teams while the national media makes fun of us.
Pope has embarrassed the program about as bad as could be.

Why do you guys keep getting baited by the "turnarounds"? Did you see how Vandy played? Can barely dribble the ball, shot fadeaway contested 3s that bricked off the BB, turnover after turnover. Was clear that Vandy was just out of it. They almost lost to Ole Miss tonight -- it's clear their chemistry is off w/ Miles back.
Vandy is a meh team. No team in the SEC is truly dominant this year. UF is the closest but they have holes, too. Beating any of these teams is not a sign that UK is "back". They are who they have been all year, don't get fooled.
I will say they need to win the UF game and hope the SECT propels them to a 6/7 b/c I don't see them winning the 8/9 game.

What really looks bad is filling Rupp arena, while turning 5,000 away, for the announcement of Pope as coach. I thought it was bizarre at the time. It was more a celebration of Cal being gone than it was Pope being the coach.
Our initial reaction on here to Pope was the right reaction. BBN knows UL should higher a coach with Popes records.
Precisely! The thing with Calipari was, he always had studs coming in, Pope has yet to land a single stud, much less multiple coming next season!
Think about this… When Calipari left for the pigsty, he had JQ, Somto, Fland, and others lined up, Pope has nothing that isn’t already on a double digit loss team coming for next season, sans a complete divine intervention miracle and a $6 million desperation Hail Mary to Stokes who has stated that UK is a backup option to KU.
