I liked Mitchell but like numerous people said he hit his ceiling before his unfortunate medical incident. Like others have also said the Mitch like hire would be Mitchell so I wouldn’t be so surprised because he’s so Mr “Safety “ even though he says they are hiring a search committee. There are too many other great up and comers that other people have mentioned that would be great to have but I don’t think Mitch will make the call!

I agree but no coach would sign a contract that says that.
I think it may be a while before we know who the replacement will be because many of the coaches they may want to talk to are still playing. We may have to be really patient because they still have conference tournaments and the NCAA tournament left to play.
I understand that but point being still should be grounds for termination without being owed a penny!

Since I quoted his comment in my reply I thought it was obvious that I was replying to Drew's comment to hire a hot chick to coach. She fits that criteria or at least she does to most people.
How could you not go after and hire the best person for the job? Just taking someone because you know them does not do the program service of what it deserves. Should not be a good ole boys club so to speak.
I pointed that out to another poster about a year ago and he refused to change his post to reflect that there was no tournament in 2020. When posters resort to distorting the truth to make a point, it does make you question the point they are trying to make. It also tells you that the poster has zero integrity when it comes to anything that doesn't fit his or her agenda.
