Meh, I’ll take solid contact for base hits all day. McCoy’s swing, and hit, is exactly what he needs to do. Every swing doesn’t need to be a HR swing.
I am more worried about the pen (again). Weigman and Galvan - we need these guys. Right now I doubt Roger has a lot of confidence in them. We need West back to help too.

Forbes had that game closed out, but the ump wasn't loving the outside of the plate. His confidence was shook after that.
It's all about the W's. Win then next up. Tech looks pretty good. Though, they did choke against Auburn last night.
Those school children looked like they were having a blast today. Fun to see.

Mac trying to push a few buttons getting Cook a couple of swings and letting McCoy watch for a minute. It could pay big dividends this weekend. He has cooled a bit,but it looks more like pitch selection.
That's the biggest and loudest crowd I've seen out there for school day. My granddaughter was in the crowd. She has some of the baseball cards and said she's hoarse after cheering for her favorite Cards.
The kids looked like they had a ball.
