Am a traditional gin martini guy. Just a splash of vermouth and two Olives served up. For the record I just woke up a very happy camper

I was always going to vote for the guy, because that was the right decision decision to make, and the left keeps going further and further left, but I did not like a lot of the rhetoric that I was hearing from him leading up to the election, and quite frankly there were times that I told people that I spoke with it I wasn’t very fond of him.
Anyway, as my wife and I are watching the election results come in last night, she kept saying, “there is no way they’re going to let him win”. Throughout the night, she started saying, “do you really think they’re gonna let him win this election?”
As the night on, it seemed clear what was going to happen.
Anyway, even though I was still already going to vote for him, there was a great sense of relief in hearing his acceptance speech, wanting to bend some fences, so to speak, and start the healing process.

I am still not convinced he will sit as President. Trump was right that it would be too big to rig (I still thought they would rig it) so they couldn't cheat this time so they will try something else.
Although the vote counts are incomplete so far, a quick review of the popular vote for each Democrat Presidential candidate in last several elections is pretty conclusive that cheating occurred in 2020. The vote totals were similar in all but a 30% jump in 2020?

My hope is he leads in a common sense moderate way . No reason we can't do this . I believe he will surround himself this time with better people.
He needs to get rid of all the people in the white house that he left in place last time. They worked against him. Get supporting in place in cabinet positions that will push his agenda.

Fix the economy, fix the border and let the social issues be on the back burner.

I thought Bernie Mereno (sp?) did a great job of articulating that (with he and his Family being immigrants) that they were basically wanting to welcome anyone that wanted to be here, just need to do it the right way.

The border is an economic issue. These 20mm people didn't land here with a job and a full fridge.
Trump will round up the illegals and then deport them and close the border. If they want in, they need to follow the process. He really wants to stop the drugs from coming in. He made promises to the mothers of the girls raped and murdered - he will honor his promise.
