Our OL does run block fairly well. Its the pass blocking thats an issue. Dana needs to understand that the formula to win with this team is what we saw vs NW. Heavy run, good special teams and hope our defense can hold up.
Our RBs have to dodge 2-3 defenders before they make it to the LOS on a third of our runs. I wouldn't call that good blocking. Johnson is doing well despite the OL.

Do you watch any other football? For 90%+ of the teams in college and the NFL that’s the norm. The hope is to average 4+ yards per carry which for the most part EJ has been doing. You do realize that Tom’s teams punted at times right?

Sometimes he gets the handoff and has multiple guys in his face immediately. Hes just so talented at making guys miss. The line play is just terrible

The coaches also hope that their QB can get about 3 seconds on passing plays, and the best our OL can do is 1.2 seconds. The line sucks at blocking all-around. Any yards that our RB get are 97% individual effort.

How can you say we only give Dylan 1.2 seconds when the stats say he averages holding the ball OVER 4 seconds on drop backs?
