Egg bowl trophy possession

This is not the info that HD6 requested, but Darrell Schmitz, Geology Prof, used to have a picture posted on his office door of himself around the age of 20 (about 30 years ago) sitting on a couch holding a beer in on hand and the egg bowl in the other. He told the story in class about how it was acquired shortly before a MSU loss to Ole Miss and wasne't returned until the following year when MSU beat Ole Miss.

I don't remember the details; it has been far too long; but if someone here happens to take one of his classes then quiz him on it.

Hilarious. My brother stole the MSU Seal out of the M Club where all of the press conferences are held, but I'm still not sure how he pulled that off. It's up in his apt right now
