sorry, just being honest. try gold instead of yellow, maybe incorporate the base of the trophy. you are on to something, keep tweaking.

it's a little difficult to incorporate our state flower and make it look manly. It's my first go at it, tho... just wanted the pack's opinion. bc i'm shooting towards patches for jerseys and field logos. any thoughts on colors?

i see that. but, i believe that the trophy is shaped like a football from 1901. its not really a trophy of an egg, right? we just just nicknamed it that bc it resembled an egg. so, im gonna keep the football shape but i could round off the ends a bit more, i guess. that way it wouldnt look like a lemon.

Looks pretty good to me.

The logo looks to be the same shape as the trophy. Which was suppose to be a football and isn't really shaped like an Egg either (tapered on both ends). </p>

I would simple elongate the look ofit, thus making it longer than it is round and erasing the lemon look...Looks really good though!

Damn good job there. I agree about making the "egg" more like a football than a lemon though. Maybe you could add some semblance of the treads to give it that football look.

Ditch the Magnolia lest it be mistaken for the legendary and timeless magnolia bowl. stick to more of a representation of the trophy. Agree with the lemon comments. If you're going to use the weathered look, don't apply it to the overall logo just for the sake of using it. Have a good reason for it. I know it's trendy right now, but I'm not sure it's purpose is anything other than that, and it should be.
