I think, combined with the other staff defections, including the head coach’s son — next year is the final Calipari chapter. We’ll know for sure if Wagner picks Louisville and 2023 recruiting stalls. That was supposed to be our bounce back class and nothing sans a legacy recruit is happening.

Calipari leaving is the positive. Respect him for what he’s done. But it’s time to find our Scheyer/Davis/Neptune.

I appreciate that. It’s not even that I don’t agree. I just hate what Rafters has become and I hate to see it affect even the best of long time posters, which I’ve always considered you as one of.

If UK program goes to hell because they lost the number 3 assistant, I say good riddance. I'm confident that will not be the case

Yeah, well, SOS and many others, get called out everytime UK wins a game, or a coach on someone's "possible Cal replacement" list loses a game. Are you going to start calling those guys out?

As I said to SOS, I’ve just always considered him one of my favorite posters and Rafters lately has been nothing but a cesspool of people throwing crap at each other and it’s depressing. I haven’t seen him mentioned by name, but that’s probably because I spend about 1/10 of my time over here that I used to for that very reason.

This generates no substantial response. I neither wanted Jai out nor felt he was a critical piece of the foundation. A solid up and comer closer in age to recruits that was a player of mention

Assistant coaches move around and seek promotions even if it is one chair up like the rest of us.

I reckon it could be a sign of the apocalypse but far more likely it is just normal shuffling around that happens all the time.
