He was interviewed with ESPN commentators post game. And it came up. He said he found out midway through 2nd half and players overheard it. His answer was great and I have a ton of respect for him and his guys now.

Yeah, he was completely classy. Real shame the university had to get a headline and not consider those kids and the coach.

Unfortunate that's the way it came down. Wait until the next day to make the announcement and give the coach his time with his players. Tulane now playing with a little extra motivation and desperation and that could make them dangerous
