Griffin on bench. But Jackson makes three. Still shooting lights out from the three. Best offensive game of year. Except for turnovers.

Great shooting by Jackson down the stretch. After Jackson’s 3 pointer got us within 1 point with 35 seconds left, I would’ve fouled ECU until they had to shoot a one & one.

We let them run 25 of the 30 seconds off the clock left with 5 seconds. LOL

I agree I would fouled anybody but Newton.

GO TU!!!

Haiths men played it within 5 points a great close loss how many losses within 5 our men never give up and Haith las minute adjustments just came up a little short for this game.

Shoot 47% from the three and lose. I'm sure if Haith had the last two minutes back he would do something different. How many times do we have to hear this?

20 turnovers was the tale of the game. I really don’t understand the ending of the scuffle. A TU player gets slapped, a second gets punched, an ECU player is ejected but ECU gets two free throws and the ball. It makes no sense.

When you don’t draw up a good inbounds play, ECU let’s our worst 3 point shooter catch the ball. We had 2 chances (we called a timeout) to get the ball to a good 3 point shooter and couldn’t get it done. The last 35 seconds of the game were classic Haith.

I've had the pleasure of watching Tulsa basketball for 40+ years. Even though Jackson doesn't compare talent wise to some of the all time greats at Tulsa I will remember him as one of my all time favorites. He's just a fun guy to watch play basketball.

GO TU!!!!

Old unwritten officials rule. A team with no chance to win with less than one second on the clock will not be allowed to win by entering into a brawl hoping the other team will get more T’s than you and win on free throws. I’ve seen the same three or four times.

Post game comments. Haith puts a lot of blame on Griffin. Hate to hear him say that, even if somewhat true. Please don't call out player's names for criticism. Take some of the blame yourself.
Such an excuse maker , we should have fired him so long ago , how about blaming himself for being such a piss poor coach

I have an observation about time outs. Why does the staff talk amongst themselves for a good portion of the front end of the time out and leave little time to talk with the players?

Also, why does the hapless Toby seem to have Haith’s ear most of the time as opposed to the real assistants on the staff? Toby needed to be sent away years ago. Don’t tell me that Dick’s Sporting Goods or Walmart wasn’t hiring.

Even though we lost, I had a great time at the game. I’m still mad that they ejected Gaston-Chapman.

So a lady with a TU shirt walks up to me and is like do you have family on the team?

I said no I am from Tulsa and have been a fan since I was about 10. She said great. Then she said my brother is the coach. I said which one? She said the head coach. Apparently his nephew is on the staff at UNC Greensboro. I was sitting with them and Idowu’s family during. The game.

Had a great time.

He should bench him if he is the problem.

Otherwise it is just verbal diarrhea.

Good for you. We have to remember the human element in this. Would be better for everyone if Frank had been highly successful.

No kidding. I sat with Susan Barnett a few times back in the day. Even though I couldn’t stand her husband, I did feel bad about some of the stuff that she had to hear.

Haith is just a guy whose ego is bigger than his talent. He will never take blame for issues.

Maybe right but he is a very nice guy and I think he really cares about his players. Not a horrible coach but horrible recruiter!!!

When I wrote to Dickson I made it clear that I have no hate for Haith and would have been delighted to see him succeed. Also that he alone was not the cause of our two decade long fall. Unfortunately he is not the solution either.
