The beat writer isn’t happy she has to work in her birthday (or during Okie Lite bowl game). You know what I did on my birthday this year? I argued an emergency motion and did my damn job. (I may have worn a seer sucker suit because it was my birthday). Anywho, it’s called being an adult and that’s the issue.

Taplin is having some issues with being guarded tightly. Needs to pass it when they close on him.
I thought he got fouled on the play I think you are talking about. Very inconsistent calls today.
Korita having a nice overall game. When Etou is engaged in the game, his movement is superb. He’s scored 7 quick ones...and of course Haith subs him out.
Artison has played well also. He’s active on the defensive end and on the boards as well. We’ve gotten some good contributions from almost everyone.

Pretty sure Dougie called the pass the ball around until the shot clock goes off play
The trap has been working well and resulted in a couple of steals. I’d like to see us do that more.
More than a couple....and a couple extra turnovers of passes going OB or in the backcourt. ECU would be a bad Southland or Atlantic Sun team

We are on a 45-14 run..... and people think we are at the bottom of the conference with ECU? Yeah right.
There are a lot of over reacting Olivers on this board. We’ve had a couple of rough patches this season for one reason or another, but this team has talent and is capable, just a matter of putting it together. Hopefully that’s starting to happen. Very balanced scoring and another great performance from Etou.
We evidently used the long break to work on stuff and it reminds me of year one in AAC when we lose to SEOK but then best UCONN a couple of weeks later.
I know ECU is bad, and this isn’t realistic, but play the rest of the season like the 2nd half? We will be a contender in Conference this year and shock (pun intendend) a lot of teams.

A couple things I'd like to see more of: Korita. Even if he isn' making shots, he doesn' seem to force things or turn it over. He has really good vision in my opinion and a great passer! He also cuts to the basket really well.
Also want to see more of the press and trap. I know ECU isn't any good but our guys just seem more focused when they start the defense out from the get go instead of waiting until half court. All in all, good win, now a ittle tougher competition on Sunday!

Korita and Artison had break out games. Both can give opponents a lot of trouble.

The team played really well in the second half. This is a big win regardless of the strength of the opponent. The defensive intensity and ball sharing was very impressive.
ECU's Barkley let some fans sitting below us in the end zone get under his skin in the second half. He unraveled pretty fast. Funny.
