WTH are we doing? Birt needs to sit tonight. He has something very mechanically wrong with his shot that needs to be fixed. Everything is drifting off left in him. Dre has effectively limited us to a 2 man rotation in the middle with 4 guards. 2 fouls in less than 2 minutes on the floor and pointless fouls at that. Out D and defensive rebounding is pathetic right now. Wake up guys or you'll go straight back to your heart and grit and toughness being questioned and whether or not TU should be in this conference
Is Zelton there? If so, someone needs to explain how. He has some sort of affiliation with ECU.

Quite the back and forth half but I'll take a 5-point lead at half on the road. We need to take control early in the second.
It was a hard foul but clearly swiping for the ball and no reckless contact with the head/neck which is what they were reviewing.
Defense needs to be much better. ECU is getting a ton of open looks. We can press and trap them to death and force 20 turnovers in the 2nd half. Edsall bailed them out on some ticky tack fouls on the trap. We are falling in love with the 3 too much. We got into the middle of the zone early and got some easy 8-10 footers and then started settling for long range shots. Curtis doesn't need to take any more 3s. Hitting one shouldn't make him think he's Steph Curry.
Smith needs to freaking dunk the ball with authority. He seems to be afraid to touch the rim for whatever reason. Got blocked on one and the 2nd one he almost missed the bunny.
Dre-try playing more than 90 seconds this half.

Our players getting progressively worse defensively is probably the biggest indictment of Haith so far
Not sure what our defensive strategy is but right now it seems to be "Let them shoot as many uncontested 3's as they want". We do a horrible job of closing out on shooters and we need to trust the inside guys to play as in the lane. Last 3 by ECU we had 5 guys within 3 feet of the restricted area.

Wright is a really talented player. But he reminds me of Ledoux or Ransdell or Price in terms of never putting it all together.
I know he has talent...but he seems to not have any focus or discipline in the court whatsoever. Where Swannegan has improved over his career, Dre really hasn't at all. He is still making the same FR mistakes as a SR.
I actually think Ledoux improved while at TU and Ramsdell was worlds better as a SR than he was as a FR.
