I know it is a long time ago but we should never have lost that game. If we had won we would be 4-4 with a very good shot at a winning record and a bowl game. We can still get a bowl game but we must win over Maryland, at Indiana and Michigan State. That will not be easy. I said at that time that I hoped this loss wouldn't come back to bite us. It should never have happened. We are improving but at this point a bowl game would really show improvement.

Have you given up on the PSU game? I'd rather win that than go to a low level bowl.

Look at it this way...a month ago, the EMU game impacting our season wasn’t even a thought. The fact that it now might is improvement.

If it prevents us from a bowl and another month of practice yes it will.

we are what our record says it is....in a way the team learned bigly from that loss, it was a necessary loss in the development of the team mentally

Stop with the moaning over EMU... we lost... it ain’t changing...we can get to 4 and perhaps 5 but ghat is a long shot at best.

That loss sucked. EMU has one other win. We know.

But unless we get to five wins, I will not ever, ever, ever think about that game again.

Maryland just beat Indiana and MSU lost. Lots of winnable games. Loss may haunt us.

Don’t think that’s a guarantee. It’s based off of APR and didn’t ours drop a lot the past year? Also, that would also depend on there not being enough 6 win teams to fill the bowls

EMU is the best 1-6 team in the nation. I made a whole thread extolling the virtues of EMU to stop these nonsensical threads. RU had a quality loss that day.
